Call for Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to a calm, well-run PGConf.Asia. From welcoming attendees at registration to keeping session rooms on schedule and supporting speakers, our volunteer team helps make the conference run smoothly for everyone — and it's one of the best ways to be close to the action while giving back to the PostgreSQL community. We're now recruiting volunteers for PGConf.Asia 2026 in Hong Kong on November 17–18, and we'd love to hear from you.
Why volunteer?
Volunteers who are selected may attend the conference, and official volunteer-supported social activities, free of charge whenever they are not on duty. (Transportation, accommodation, and personal travel expenses are not covered.)

Signing up for shifts
Once your application is confirmed, register a PGConf.Asia account using the same email address you applied with — this is how the organizing team assigns you the volunteer role. After that, sign in and open "Volunteer Schedule" to browse available shifts by day and sign yourself up (or withdraw) directly.
Detailed role guidelines — covering Registration, Room Host, and Room Recording duties — will be shared once your volunteer application is approved.
We look forward to welcoming you to the team!
